LIVE support going away for original XBOX games
Author: Dave | Filed under: General Site InfoWith GHP2 coming soon a lot of people have been breaking out their GHTP/MAX’D copies in anticipation. Well… it looks like you may not have much longer to do that.
Microsoft has announced they are discontinuing XBOX LIVE support for ORIGINAL XBOX games on April 15th, 2010. Tax day at that! So get your fix in while you still can. Unfortunately after this date it looks like your GHTP/MAX’d copies will no longer have multiplayer support. Don’t fret, though! GHP2 is just around the corner.
Sorry we’re a bit late to post this, but there’s a great discussion about GHP2 going on at PBN. Would’ve told you all sooner, but we had the site down for a bit. So head on over and start talking until our new site goes live with the new forums.

Author: Dave | Filed under: General Site InfoI’m sure by now you’ve seen the awesome video of Greg at SuperXStudios doing MoCap for GHP2 (if you haven’t already the video is after the break).
We decided we’re going to do a quick “teaser” interview with Greg and SuperX about GHP2, MoCap and their expectations for the project.
So keep an eye on the site… it’s coming.
Have an Android, or barscan capable mobile?
Author: Dave | Filed under: General Site InfoHere’s a short list of whats new:
- You can post without a GHTP.net account (in fact we’ve disabled direct sign ups). This means no extra accounts to worry about. Just login via our secure login system (provided by the awesome RPXNOW site). It’s secure, and it prevents Spam like nobody’s business. Plus you can choose what you’re logged in as via your login.
- GHTP.net mobile site is working. Just visit www.ghtp.net via your mobile device (standard phone, iPhone, Android phone, Blackberry… whatever) and it will auto-adjust the site for you.
- FORUMS ARE DOWN: They’ll be back up shortly. We’re going to wipe the posts a bit. Fresh site(s), fresh info, fresh start.
- Direct news from our Twitter feed on the main page
I just wanted to make a fast “first” post and say this… you are NOT viewing the newly promised GHP2 site. This is a site I threw together to be able to keep news coming in an “official” capacity while the Guru’s do their magic. Since we’re taking our time with it, and want it done right, we’re going to do just that. So… in the meantime I wanted you all to have a chance to still get official news off locations outside our Official Twitter Feed.
So here it is. The next post will outline what things you can do, and why the forum is currently still down (we’ll bring back a minimalized version shortly with full info).
